Hush Monitor is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, video footage, or audio recordings. Everything stays on your device and your local network.
Hush Monitor does not collect or transmit:
Hush Monitor connects directly to IP cameras on your local WiFi network using the RTSP protocol. All video and audio streaming happens directly between your iPhone/iPad and your camera. No data passes through our servers because we do not operate any servers.
Your camera connection details (IP address, username, password, RTSP URL) are stored locally on your device only. They are never transmitted to us or any third party.
Sleep tracking data (sleep/wake events, durations) is computed and stored entirely on your device. This data is not synced, uploaded, or shared.
If you purchase a subscription, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple may share basic transaction data (such as whether a subscription is active) with us through StoreKit, but no personal financial information.
Hush Monitor does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service interaction is with Apple's App Store for subscription management.
The app requires local network access to discover and connect to IP cameras on your WiFi network. This access is used solely for camera communication and never for data collection.
While Hush Monitor is designed to help monitor children, the app itself does not collect any information about children or any other users.
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or our website.
